It's somehow comforting to know that New Hampshire is not as cheap as it's made out to be, and wow, now I'm not moving to Alaska for multiple reasons!

maybe someday, the federal government will stop disenfranchising residents of the district and eleanor holmes norton will have a vote in the house that counts and you guys will start being counted in these kinds of these. but don't hold yer breath.

on the up side, the daily beast ranked DC-ers (DCians? washingtonians? DC residents) as the best looking "state." yay!

No, we're not a state, but people do live in DC and people do pay taxes in DC. Without representation.
