Lesbian Gynecologists Boston

Postby Crescent » Thu Jan 28, 2010 4:26 pm

I know it shouldn't matter, but I would prefer to go to a lesbian (or at least queer-friendly) gyno.

Does anyone have any recommendations for Boston / Cambridge?

Queer friendly (have no clue what her sexuality is): Hannah Olivet

She is a PCP, but she does a lot of women's health, so she's one stop shopping.

I just found out about this SWEET resource.

The Gay & Lesbian Medical Association (GLMA -- they call themselves GLAM. 'cause they're just that gay.) has a resource to search for LGBT-friendly providers. You can narrow by gender, specialty (including ob/gyn), etc within the Boston area.

Their website:
http://www.glma.org/

And a direct link to their directory:
http://glmaimpak.networkats.com/members ... ovider.asp
A search for female ob/gyns in Boston returned 4, but you may want to search by zip -- the city search doesn't include the outskirts of Boston.

Thank you both!

Upsidedown, I appreciate your personal recommendation.
Righteousjen, thanks: your link looks like exactly what I was looking for!
